WEEK 8 - Physical Therapy Department

 

 

 

 

The two Graduate Assistants, Brooke Berlan and Matt Lioi, began by giving a short introduction into the different type of disabilities and what role physical therapy plays in getting patients back to 100%!

The students were given impairments and presented with a challenge of making Rice Krispy Treats together. Out of the three in attendance, Miguel had his glasses blurred to give him a visual impairment, Matthew was placed in a wheel chair and Sheridan had one fist taped together leaving her with use of only one hand.

Once they had completed the challenge, they were given a tour of the Physical Therapy Department on wheelchairs...

WHICH PROVED TO BE EASIER SAID THAN DONE!
